OBX Pridefest & Beach Bear Pride Party!

Excitement! I have a great Summer planned this year and the gigs are piling up! One event I am very excited about is the OBX Pridefest this year! I have worked lots of venues in the past but this is my first major Pride gig, which I hope to extend to many more after this!

This is a big deal, its the first Pride event for the Outer Banks, NC. I not only wanted to share my music and passion for creating my own sounds but also take part in a big piece of history. This is one that will go down in the books and I am sure will get everyones excitement for next years OBX Pridefest shooting through the roof!

During this full weekend of festivities I will be working 2 club events, a daytime event on Saturday full of great live entertainment and a Bear Beach Party on Sunday afternoon!

I created a series of mixsets to get people a preview of what to expect from me over that weekend of June 24-26 so here it is, the first in a 3 part series before the big event. OBX Sneak Peek Sunshine Mix!

New Mixset - "Nasty!"

I want to be upfront with you guys, I see a lot of guys in the game that dont have a sense of soul. They play lots of bad music, snagging any remix of a popular song and playing it regardless of how clean the remix is, usually the transitions dont make sense and the selection of sounds dont work well together... sooooo I wanted to offer up something tasty. This is a collection of new and recent music that I think offers the ears treats and makes you shake your ass..

Ladies and gentleman, boys, girls and wanna-bee's this is your guide.. this is why I am so fuckin nasty in the mix.. enjoy.

2010 Hot 100 Radio EXCLUSIVE Urban/HipHop Mixset

So last year I experimented a few times with various forms of music. I did a dubstep mixset I even played around with rock remixes and some modern 80s remixes however one mixset I did that was way off the mark for me was this one.

The Hot 100 Radio is a station that I have been working with for quite sometime now and has had more than a handful of exclusive mixsets of mine. I have shared some in the past but since we are in 2011 and I plan on hooking them up with even newer exclusives time to share some of the older ones.

This is the full hip hop mixset I did, I am NOT a hip hop DJ but I fooled around with some remixes of my own and wanted to put them into a set format. This will be the first and last time I mix hip hop in a set format to download. I had a blast making this but its not in me to stay on this path musically.

I want to thank Hot 100 for all the support and hope they got a lot of rotation outta this mix! Enjoy!
